Went shopping, here is the food I bought. Grabbed a few bits from the garden too and blackberries from the wild☝️ Nothing fancy, just simple but effective food that helps me reach my goals.

Contrary to what IG fitspos will have you believe, you don’t need to eat fancy Buddha bowls, drink matcha lattes, eat only grain free tortillas and put bee pollen in everything to be healthy and get the body you want. If you like doing all that stuff, then cool. But it’s not essential. If it’s a huge jump from your current diet then it’s probably not going to be something you will stick to. So, why not eat the food you like and make it work for you?

Not pictured: I also bought chocolate but forgot to put it in the photo 🤦🏼‍♀️ I eat some chocolate most days.

Please note: there is crossover on macronutrient content in almost all of these foods, the categories I list them under are generalisations. Please don’t send me angry DMs educating me that eggs are a protein source. I am aware of this.
